Centre of Gravity
Less fatigue, more comfort, same protection.Every Arai helmet is designed with a low centre of gravity, achieved through the careful use of lightweight materials and a compact shell design.
By reducing weight at the top of the helmet, the load is carried closer to the rider's head and neck, helping the helmet feel lighter than its actual weight. The result is improved comfort and reduced fatigue, particularly during longer rides, allowing you to stay focused on the road ahead.
Despite its compact dimensions, the shell retains Arai's renowned smooth, round shape, ensuring the helmet's glancing off performance is never compromised in the pursuit of comfort.

A Busy Summer Ahead for Arai
As the summer calendar continues to gather pace, Arai Helmet is set to attend two of the biggest motorcycle events of the season across Europe and Japan.
From 3-5 July, Arai will be present at World Ducati Week at Misano World Circuit, where Ducati celebrates its landmark 100th anniversary. Located within the Tech Village, Arai's Customer Service team will be on hand throughout the event, offering helmet servicing, maintenance support and technical advice, while visitors can also explore a selection of Ducati-inspired Arai helmets alongside the latest additions to the Arai range.
The same weekend also sees Arai return to the legendary Suzuka 8 Hours in Japan (3-5 July), one of the most prestigious endurance races in world motorsport and an event synonymous with Arai's racing heritage. Arai-supported athletes will once again be among the favourites, including the race's most successful rider, Takumi Takahashi, six-time WorldSBK Champion Jonathan Rea, and Michael van der Mark, as they take on the iconic Suzuka Circuit in pursuit of victory.
Whether at the world's greatest endurance races or Europe's biggest motorcycle festivals, Arai looks forward to welcoming riders and enthusiasts throughout another busy summer of motorcycling.

Arai On Track
Arai-supported athletes have continued their outstanding form across a wide range of international championships, led by another historic milestone for Ai Ogura. Riding with the RX-7V FIM Racing #2, the Japanese MotoGP star secured his maiden premier class pole position at Brno, becoming the first Japanese rider to take a MotoGP pole since 2020. Ogura converted that pace into an impressive second place in both the Sprint Race and Grand Prix, further cementing his status as one of the championship's standout performers.
In World Supersport, Albert Arenas continued his title charge with second place in Race 1 before claiming victory in Race 2 at Misano. Also wearing the RX-7V FIM Racing #2, the Spaniard extended his championship lead to 56 points. Team-mate Aldi Mahendra celebrated another career milestone by securing his first dry-weather World Supersport podium with third place in Race 2. Elsewhere at Misano, Muklada Sarapuech claimed her maiden podium in the Women's Circuit Racing World Championship, continuing an impressive season aboard the RX-7V FIM Racing #2.
Road racing once again proved a successful hunting ground for Arai at the weather-affected Isle of Man TT. As Official Helmet Partner of the event, Arai celebrated a record-breaking fortnight as Michael Dunlop extended his all-time TT tally to 36 victories with wins in both Supersport races and the inaugural Sportbike TT. Fellow Arai athlete Mike Browne claimed a superb second place in the first Sportbike race, while Josh Brookes rounded off the event with a podium finish in the Senior TT.
At the legendary Nürburgring 24 Hours, Maro Engel enjoyed another landmark victory, helping Mercedes-AMG Team RAVENOL secure overall honours while wearing the GP-7 SRC, adding another major endurance success to Arai's growing list of achievements.
Arai athletes also enjoyed a highly successful weekend in the FIM JuniorGP World Championship at Estoril. Wearing the RX-7V FIM Racing #2, Yeray Ruiz and Miguel Bernal secured first and second respectively in the European Stock class, while Unai Orradre claimed two third-place finishes in Moto2. Alfonsi Daquigan completed another strong weekend for Arai with third place in Race 1 of the Moto4 class.
In EnduroGP, Thibault Giraudon continued Arai's success off-road by taking victory in the Junior 2 class in Portugal, once again demonstrating the versatility of the MX-V FIM Racing #2 across every discipline of motorcycle sport.

Factory Tour Series - Volume Three
Our Factory Tour series, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the Arai factory in Japan, continues with the fourth stage of helmet production; the Polish Process.
Before the first layer of paint, extensive preparation is needed. Three rounds of inspection, surfacing and sanding are required. Intricate and laborious, but necessary for a strong shell.
More resin in the shell leaves a smoother surface and many of these steps can be skipped. But less resin and more fibre make a stronger, lighter shell.
With more fibre the shell is stronger, but the surface is rough. Making prep difficult, but an important aspect of Arai’s protection performance. Workers engaged in this process understand this and take great pride in their contribution to rider protection, making their task difficult but rewarding.
Surfacing, inspection and sanding are repeated until a smooth finish is achieved. The first base coat is then applied and inspected. Concentrating on the work with a sense of responsibility and pride in the fact that each step of the process is connected to protecting the riders.

The Egg Shape Behind Every Helmet we Make
For more than 30 years Arai have held true to the belief in the egg shape - nature's strongest shape. The characteristics of the egg capture what we seek for optimal rider protection: rounder, stronger, smoother. This form is behind every helmet we make, ensuring that the Glancing Off performance delivers our Priority for Protection in the event of an impact.
